Measures to Reduce Pretrial Detention, IACHR
ART DIRECTOR 2018
This report examines the arbitrary and unlawful use of pretrial detention, which represents a problem in guaranteeing the rights of persons deprived of liberty. It provides recommendations to implement alternative measures to allow the person to remain at liberty while the criminal proceedings are in progress. In this cover art there are people with their backs turned and, through a visual game, prison bars are melted onto them.

Towards the Closure of Guantanamo, IACHR
ART DIRECTOR, 2014
This report addresses the human rights situation of detainees at the US naval base at Guantánamo Bay, a facility that has become a symbol of abuse around the world. The report calls for the immediate closure of the detention centre. The cover art of this report shows a characteristic wire fence of the naval base that is broken. The cut represents the opening of the fence and the closing of the prison. The orange colour of the entire visual system recalls the colour of the detainees' clothing.
